Ken Spencer and Judy Gale have been a lifeline for youth across the Lower Mainland. Ken has been pivotal in the growth of Yo Bro | Yo Girl. Sadly, Ken passed away earlier this year after a long and courageous battle with cancer. However, his legacy lives on through the countless youth that have been positively impacted and changed their lives for the better. The Spencer Creo Foundation has supported Yo Bro | Yo Girl (YBYG) Youth Initiative to become the organization it is today, helping thousands of youth across the Lower Mainland. It is with great honour that I would like to announce that the Francis Family Foundation has generously offered to match donations made to Yo Bro | Yo Girl Youth Initiative in honour of Ken Spencer between now and the end of October! (up to a maximum of $25,000)

What kinds of programs do we offer?
Your donations allow us myriad opportunity such as:
– Facilitating in-school and after-school programs
– Educate children and youth about healthy relationships, boundary setting, assertiveness, safety planning, and emotional self-control
– Awareness of current drug and gang issues facing youth today
– Violence and prevention programs
– Workshops to build confidence and empower youth
– Spring, Summer, and Winter break programs
